Martin Montana, CRPC
Founder & CEO
After earning his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Virginia, Martin began his financial services career as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise) in the Boston area. By the age of 25, he had advanced to Field Vice President, launching a fast-rising leadership journey.
He has held senior leadership roles across multiple firms, developing deep expertise in financial planning, advisor coaching, management, and team development within the financial services industry. That breadth of experience—combined with his entrepreneurial drive—shapes the client-first philosophy at Ignite.
As Founder and CEO of Ignite Financial Advisors, Martin brings his passion for helping clients achieve financial independence through comprehensive, unbiased financial planning in an independent platform. He holds the Series 7, 65, 63, and 24 registrations with FINRA and is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®).
Beyond finance, Martin also enjoyed a successful entertainment career—hosting celebrity athlete shows in Las Vegas and appearing in a Super Bowl commercial. Today, he lives in Tampa, Florida, with his wife, Gema, and their daughter, Eva. Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and is an avid sports fan.
